Doctoral Fellow

One of my professional goals is to help organizations leverage data- and research-driven insights to promote high-performing, satisfied, and diverse workforces as well as guide decision-making processes. Modern’s commitment to driving organizational success through the effective placement of leaders from diverse backgrounds truly resonates with this professional goal.

Kenneth E. Granillo-Velasquez is a Doctoral Fellow in Modern Executive Solutions’ Enterprise Solutions group. Kenneth has over four years of experience in data analytics, research methodologies, and implementing personnel and organizational psychology principles to guide decision-making.

Before joining Modern, Kenneth was an I-O Psychology Research Consultant for TestGorilla B. V., where he helped the organization design a roadmap for the development of assessments measuring applicants' knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics. He has also collaborated with other major assessment companies, such as Hogan and the Myers-Briggs Company, to uncover statistically driven insights from their archival data. Kenneth has led and successfully published multiple research projects in refereed scientific journals. His research focuses on topics related to individual differences within the workplace, person-job fit, and workforce competencies.

Kenneth received his Ph. D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology (with a minor in Psychological Statistics & Data Analysis) from the University of Houston. He also received his B. S. in Psychology from the University of Iowa.
