Jim is a Senior Partner at Modern focusing on client strategy and Modern’s approach to long-term relationship building. He has led major client initiatives across talent, commercial go to market, risk, compliance, and technology in complex, global organizations, working with the board of directors, the CEO and management teams in both business operating and functional units. He has significant experience and comfort dealing with fast-paced, complex, global organizations in both management and profit line roles.
Prior to joining Modern, Jim was President of a division of ZRG Partners, which focused on sales/go to market talent advisory and recruiting across numerous industries. Previously, under contract, he was Chief Talent Officer for an aerospace startup called Theia Technologies. From 2016 through 2020, Jim was a Senior Partner and Global Account Lead in Korn Ferry’s Financial Services practice located in the firm’s New York office. While there, he led four multimillion-dollar global accounts, initiating and expanding client relationships and delivering the full range of talent advisory solutions.
Jim previously served as Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton in a variety of roles including client service leader for two global Fortune 100 client accounts and delivery lead for Analytic and Data Science Solutions focused on risk and compliance.
Jim earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of Delaware and a master of business administration degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He currently serves as Chair for the 501c3 he co-founded, called Anchors Camp (https://www.anchorscamp.org), which focuses on teaching life and trade skills to children at risk to gun violence, aged 15-18, who live in major cities on the East Coast.
