Archer McFall is a Senior Partner at Modern Executive Solutions, where he leads the firm’s Software & Technology and Financial Services Practices. He brings a distinguished career in retained executive search, succession planning, and strategic advisory work, partnering with private equity, venture capital, and publicly traded organizations to build transformative leadership teams.
At Modern, Archer oversees both the executive search and advisory businesses and is recognized for his deep-dive talent intelligence approach to recruiting CEOs, Presidents, and senior executives across Product, Go-to-Market, and Engineering.
Prior to joining Modern, Archer served as a Managing Director at ZRG Partners, where he played a key role in the Technology & Software and Global Technology Services Practices. Earlier, he was a Principal at a leading global boutique specializing in technology, digital, and product leadership searches across the Software, eCommerce, FinTech, and Financial Services sectors. He began his executive search career at Russell Reynolds Associates.
An active investor and advisor to early-stage technology companies, Archer is passionate about building businesses at the intersection of diverse leadership, disruptive innovation, and strategic capital. He is a trusted advisor to CEOs and C-suite leaders across the Software, FinTech, and Financial Services industries.
Archer earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Colgate University, where he competed in NCAA Division I varsity tennis.
